Los Gatos Oaks Convalescent Hospital Acquired by Dylan Investments

Sept. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- Shep Roylance of JCH Senior Housing Group recently represented Dylan Investments in the acquisition of the 28-bed skilled nursing facility and campus, Los Gatos Oaks Convalescent Hospital. Previously owned by a local cardiologist Dr. Nguyen, the Los Gatos property also features two four-plexes and a single-family home on almost 3acres. Dylan Investments purchased the facility for $3,500,000 as part of their senior housing redevelopment strategy.

The acquisition of this Northern California campus expanded Dylan Investment’s existing and impressive national and international real estate portfolio. Founded in 1990, Dylan Investments Properties is a real estate investment firm that focuses on the restoration, renovation, and repositioning of commercial and residential properties throughout the United States and internationally. When they were first made aware of the Los Gatos facility, their intention was to vacate the facility and demolish the buildings on-site with the intention of developing a high-end memory care facility.

However, when Shep Roylance introduced Dylan to Dr. Bansal of Reliant Management Group, the owner/operator of the Camden Post-Acute Care Center located in close proximity, their entire plan changed. The investment firm now plans to convert the skilled nursing facility into a sub-acute facility in order to better serve the community in conjunction with the Camden Post-Acute Care Center. The two four plexes and the multi-family portion of the Los Gatos campus will be replaced by a 22-unit high-end memory care community.
