Host ELC Contributes to Success of the Ellie Fund's Third Annual "Real Golfers Wear Pink"

HANOVER, Mass. - Sept. 17, 2015 - PRLog -- Epstein, Lipsey & Clifford, P.C. of Hanover, a full-service law firm that provides services in the field of real estate, Social Security, workers’ compensation, and personal injury, raised more than $71,000 as sponsor of the Ellie Fund’s “Real Golfers Wear Pink” Charity Golf Tournament, presented by Walmart at the Wollaston Golf Club, 999 Randolph Avenue in Milton on August 31^st.

More than 120 golfers from across the state participated in the event, with all proceeds benefiting the Ellie Fund, a Needham-based nonprofit whose mission is to provide essential support services for breast cancer patients to ease the stresses of everyday life, allowing the focus to be on family, recovery and healing.

In addition to a day on the links, the festivities included a dinner, silent auction, prize drawing and a speaking platform where Scott Dorsey, whose family received assistance from the Ellie Fund following his wife’s diagnosis of breast cancer.

“We are grateful to Walmart for their title sponsorship and are very pleased with the overwhelming support and turnout for an organization that works every day to help those families that are affected by breast cancer in real, tangible ways,” said Scott Clifford, partner at Epstein, Lipsey & Clifford, P.C. and one of the event’s creators.
