Jacqueline Collins facilitates development session for the ARC of South Shore

ABINGTON, Mass. - Sept. 16, 2015 - PRLog -- Jacqueline Collins of Abington and principal of Partnering for Performancerecently facilitated a planning/board development day for The ARC of the South Shore in North Weymouth.

Collins, whose experience
in development, design, and implementation of business strategies spans more than 20 years led a group of 16 staff members of The ARC “very effectively, leaving participants feeling good about what was accomplished,” according to Daryl Cook-Ivan, Executive Director of The ARC of the South Shore.

“We now have a clear action plan, a clean agenda and mechanisms to strengthen our Board to further the mission of the organization,” said Cook-Ivan, noting that the agency plans to retain Partnering for Performance for future planning sessions.

The Arc of the South Shore is guided by a mission to provide the highest quality services and advocacy for children and adults with cognitive, physical, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. The family oriented, community-based non-profit agency believes that all individuals have the right to participate fully in their community.

Collins is known for her acumen in the development and installation of business and process improvement programs.  She has earned a reputation for being a creative leader in project management, team building, conflict management, customer service, client retention, problem resolution, communication, coaching, and mentoring.

Prior to founding Partnering for Performance, Collins worked in Fleet Financial Group as Director of Quality Management for Fleet Retirement Plan Services, and before that with Putnam Investments. She has also owned and operated several small businesses in the retail, service and consulting sectors.

Collins holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the State University of Iowa, and has taken additional business courses at Northeastern University, The Sloan School of Management, and has completed National Quality Award training attending the Juran Institute.

She presently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce.  Other professional memberships include the Association for Quality and Participation, Goal/QPC, Mass Bay Organization Learning Group and the American Management Association.
