New Jersey Native Dorian Mendez-Vaz Debuts Inspirational Novel For Women

LOS ANGELES - Sept. 16, 2015 - PRLog -- Dorian Mendez-Vaz, a native of Camden, NJ, ordained minister in the American Baptist Churches-USA, and President and Founder of Within Her Reach, Inc., a non-profit organization, will release her long anticipated novel, Sometimes In December on September 28, 2015.

Sometimes in December is told through the lens of the main character Geri Michaels. She is a successful woman who determines at the midpoint in her career that she desperately needs a change in her life. After years of denying how unfulfilled her life has been she searches her past and reflects on critical times in her childhood. Geri recognizes how events in her past have determined the paths she has taken as an adult and how those choices have somehow defined her.

Geri begins to redirect some of her passion for helping others inward. She embarks on her new life journey, leaving Baltimore and relocates to Chicago where she begins a lucrative career as a novelist.Things change quickly and dramatically as she experiences love, great joy, profound loss, and unexpected recoveries.
