Redesign is Budget & Eco-Friendly Interior Design

The Redesign Habit, an online community for interior design, DIY and home improvement enthusiasts, is now on KickStarter.

SAN DIEGO - Sept. 16, 2015 - PRLog -- Woman owned, family run startup – The Redesign Habit – announced today that it is raising funds via a rewards / equity crowdfunding campaign on KickStarter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/445070696/go-green-and-love-where-you-live-the-redesign-habi) to support the production of The Redesign Toolkit. The toolkit is a budget and eco-friendly interior design tool that teaches design enthusiasts how to transform their homes into a space they love.

The company set out to raise $4,500 in order to cover the cost of their first toolkit production run. After production, this first-of-its-kind product, will be available for sale on various ecommerce channels, including the company website, www.theredesignhabit.com.

Michele Schweppe, a certified International Staging and Redesign Professional (ISRP) and the President and Founder of The Redesign Habit, said, “Redesign is smarter, greener interior design. By re-using, re-finishing and re-imagining existing furniture and décor, you can not only save tons of green, you also help make the world a greener, cleaner place.”

The company goal is two-fold. First, The Redesign Habit wants to revolutionize the way consumers think about interior design and to introduce the idea of redesign, or green design, as a staple of the process. The company website (http://www.theredesignhabit.com/) supports this goal by offering a community where design, DIY and home improvement enthusiasts can ask design questions, share ideas, feature projects and more.

Second, The Redesign Habit wants to teach people who want to transform their space how to imagine, plan and execute projects flawlessly, regardless of their skill level and familiarity with the process.

The Redesign Toolkit accomplishes this using a professionally written, step-by-step workbook that guides readers through each stage of the process, offers in-depth planning and budget worksheets and includes space planning and color tools. The kit is lighthearted, making it a fun experience to read and interact with while also providing aspiring designers with everything they need to transform the space they live into a place they love.

About:
The Redesign Habit is a family-owned and run startup company that was launched in March of 2012. The company recently overhauled their web presence and is excited to be seeking funding for their first production run of The Redesign Toolkit. The kit has received an overwhelmingly positive reaction from beta-testers and is the first and most comprehensive product of its kind to make it to market.
