STAMFORD, Conn. - Sept. 15, 2015 - PRLog -- Ms. Sissman’s Landscapes of the Journey are widely collected by individuals on three continents and by healing organizations nationwide. In these paintings Ms. Sissman often depicts a body of water seen through a screen of trees. “I use water to represent life and serenity or, broadly speaking, that to which we aspire; often so close and yet elusive. While partially obscuring and thus connoting a hurdle trees in my paintings provide glimpses. My landscapes like my flowers are not merely intended to reflect nature but rather to project an inner reflection, a metaphorical journey”.
