Landscapes of the Journey are widely collected by individuals on three continents and by healing organizations nationwide. In these paintings Ms. Sissman often depicts a body of water seen through a screen of trees. “I use water to represent life and serenity or, broadly speaking, that to which we aspire; often so close and yet elusive. While partially obscuring and thus connoting a hurdle trees in my paintings provide glimpses. My landscapes like my flowers are not merely intended to reflect nature but rather to project an inner reflection, a metaphorical journey”.
Liron Sissman is an elected Fellow of The American Artists Professional League. Her biography is included in Who’s Who in the World, Who’s, Who in America, Who’s Who in American Art, and Who’s Who of American Women. Her artwork is featured in Warner Bros.
