Cincy Chic Hosts “Think Pink” Event, Bra Decorating Party

CINCINNATI - Sept. 15, 2015 - PRLog -- In preparation for breast cancer awareness month in October, Cincy Chic is celebrating with a “Think Pink” shopping event and bra decorating party.

The bras decorated at the event will fly high on Fountain Square, with hundreds of other decorated bras donated by Cincy Chic readers, for the ninth annual Bras with Flair on the Square event Oct. 2.

The Think Pink event will take place on Thursday September 17 from 5-8pm at A Village Gift Shop in Glendale. The event will feature bra decorating, drinks, shopping, and food truck yumminess with Cuban Pete's Sandwiches. Attendees can bring a bra, or purchase one for $5, and Cincy Chic will provide the art supplies. All proceeds of the Think Pink event and Bras with Flair on the Square benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

“We are most looking forward to connecting with those who support the Susan G. Komen and Breast Cancer community and most importantly fundraising to help support the National Research and our local community impact,” says Ashley Bangi, Marketing Manager for Susan G. Komen Greater Cincinnati. “The Bras with Flair on the Square event is a large awareness event for our affiliate in what we do, but also the importance of self-awareness when it comes to Breast Cancer Awareness.”

The first 20 attendees wearing pink will get a special “Think Pink” gift from A Village Gift Shop! All bra decorating participants will receive two tickets to Bras with Flair on the Square on Oct. 2.

“This event is a time to share with my staff, and we can reflect on how everyday friends family coworkers families are touch by breast cancer, each day is such a gift,” says Diane Agricola, owner of A Village Gift Shop. “We are looking forward to a group of woman having fun and gathered for awareness and prevention.”
