ClinTrialApp announces plan to create mobile clinical research community through its existing App

SAN FRANCISCO - Sept. 14, 2015 - PRLog -- San Francisco – ClinTrialApp is planning to release a major addition to its high-successful platform by allowing clinical research sites to communicate in a research community through its ClinTrialApp mobile application for clinical trials.

According to Ron Miller, VP of Sales, “we’re continuing to add greater value to clinical research sites by allowing them to communicate through our App. This is a highly confidential environment and there is no safer way to exchange information than a secure mobile phone application”. ClinTrialApp will allow research sites that are active on a study to post questions (only to other active sites on the same study), engage in study-specific conversation and be notified of information posted by the sponsor. According to Mr. Miller, “We are building tiny communities within each study, bringing significantly greater engagement within the study and around the study. Greater engagement means greater participation, greater enrollment and a greater connectivity to sponsors that use ClinTrialApp. Sponsors that use ClinTrialApp will have a significantly greater advantage in how their clinical trial sites engage in their studies.”

The communities tab will replace the newsfeed option and allow members in a given study to ask questions, support other research sites, discuss screening and recruitment ideas, interact with sponsors and find other members within the study.

ClinTrialApp is a technology company that creates download apps for physicians, researchers and clinical research staff to allow them to access clinical study information that has been uploaded by sponsors (pharmaceutical companies).
