When Producer Claude Reid was looking for his next film project he did something that makes other producers cringe.  He posted a call for scripts on Craigslist.  Through the countless number of emails, one caught his eye from a writer named Kyle Owens.

"Fairfield Music Festival (Mockumentary)  A one day, outdoor music festival is held to help raise money to provide television closed captioning for the blind.  Everything goes wrong, but they have the time of their lives.  Picture SPINAL TAP meets WOODSTOCK.  Screenplay upon request."
Claude Reid just found his next project.

For a producer, after finding the right script the next thing is raising the funds to make it.  "It's the hardest part of producing," Reid said.  "But once you get a great script, a few roles well casted and a place to shoot then it becomes a little easier to get the money, not a lot easier, but a little easier."  Then he added, "Script and talent, that's how you raise the money.  It doesn't matter if you raise the funds through a popular crowdfunding site, friends and family or investors, you have to have those two things to make the project come together."

While the film will be a comedy, Reid is wanting to get some known talent for the musical groups.
"We really want it to have some great music that reaches across all genres.  Also I want the cast and crew to involve people of different races with diverse backgrounds to bring some realism to it.  I think that would really make it stand out in this super-verse of entertainment choices today.
With a black producer and a white writer behind the project you seem to be more open or maybe just more sensitive to having a diversity of people involved."

With that the busy producer's phone rang and he excused himself.  After all the man's got a movie to make.
