Summer isn’t over yet and neither is the New York City Filmomaniac short film showcase and networking event.
“We are grateful for the community of artists that continue to come together,” says Maylin Castro, one of the founders.
Glowing with pride at the content being showcased, Castro believes that Filmomaniac, “provides a platform to celebrate quality shorts and to honor indie filmmakers in New York City.”
The evening will include a screening and Q&A, as well as a live reading of a short in pre-production. Come ready to network with the following buzz-worthy filmmakers:
* Time Signature, Directed by Sean Mannion
* Protester's, Directed by Marty Lang
* Blessing in Disguise, Directed by Eric Kissack
* Pigeon and Me, Directed by Rob Alicea
Encouraging the artistic community in New York and the outer boroughs to show their support and get to know each other, Castro exclaims, “It’s the last full week of summer! So come hang out, get some great drinks and get your movie groove going!”
The summer edition of Filmomaniac will be hosted by Maylin Castro and co-hosted by Lisann Valentin on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 7:00pm, at Subject L.E.S. located on 188 Suffolk Street, New York, New York 10002. [subject-les.com]
