Strut Your Mutt For A Tail Wagging Paw-ty at Haute Enchilada and Social Club to Benefit POMDR

MOSS LANDING -- The Haute Enchilada Café & Social Club will be holdings its second annual Strut Your Mutt Costume Contest!

Peace of Mind Dog Rescue (POMDR) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in October 2009. POMDR is to be a resource and advocate for senior dogs and senior people on California's Central Coast. We find loving homes for dogs whose guardians can no longer care for them and for senior dogs in shelters. POMDR is supported by a network of over 450 volunteers committed to helping POMDR fulfill its mission, by helping with foster care, adoption events, transportation, office work, and other tasks.  Help the cause and enjoy a great day out with your dog!

12:30 p.m. arrive

Lunch 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. only

Costume Contest 1:15 p.m. – 1:45 p.m.

·          Prizes for best costumed dogs!  Prizes TBD.  Prizes below are last years. (Kim will work on certificates below)

·          1st Prize $100 gift certificate to The Haute Enchilada

·          2nd Prize $50 gift certificate to The Haute Enchilada and Whole Enchilada

Enjoy the outside courtyard warmed by heat lamps and chimineas while indulging yourself with Peruvian Ceviche and a Sparkling Malbec Fresh Fruit Sangria or if you prefer prefer Lamb wraps of hand crafted cumin scented lamb patties wrapped in organic butter lettuce leaves, tomato & sweet red onion, roasted vegetables, eggplant, red bell pepper, onion & mushrooms, finished with goat cheese and aioli dressing with crisp Chardonnay or a spicy Pinot. The restaurant also offers a full bar. The Haute Enchilada Cafe and Social Club is available for private events, banquets and on and offsite catering.
