Chart-topping artist Genius set to release new single, "Murder She Wrote"

LOS ANGELES - Sept. 9, 2015 - PRLog -- Billboard chart-topping artist Genius formerly known as V.I.C. had us all sweating in the club with Gold certified dance hits "Wobble" and "Get Silly." Now, back with a new style and sound Genius has announced the release date of his upcoming single that will have us back on the floor. "Murder She Wrote" will debut on September 18th and now available for pre-order on iTunes and Google Play.

A hot dance track, "Murder She Wrote" has a bouncy rhythm and pop/reggae vibe. His latest music is refreshingly energetic. The underlying theme of the song along with the upbeat and catchy rhythm of "Murder She Wrote" are favorable elements of Genius' new debut. It can take up to one day or a week to create a song "but the track tells me what to say," says Genius.

The revamped image and name reflect Genius' new musical sound and quality. Early in his career he allowed people to take advantage of his naivety. He vowed to never let that happen again and created his company Miracle Music. His past industry experience has made him the artist he is today and rest assured the hits will keep coming. This time around he’s doing it his way.

Genius was born Victor Owusu in Queens, NY but moved to Atlanta, GA at a young age. Growing up in Atlanta where some of the hottest artists are cultivated gave Genius the confidence he needed to be a part of that crowd. Being green to the industry was part of his learning process, and learn he did. Not holding on to any negativity of the past and his spirituality is what kept Genius motivated.
