Newhaven Court at Lindwood continues Alzheimer’s fundraisers

GREENSBURG, Pa. - Sept. 8, 2015 - PRLog -- Newhaven Court at Lindwood will hold a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9 as part of the senior living community’s ongoing fund-raising efforts for the Alzheimer’s Association.

     Last month Newhaven Court at Lindwood held a successful car show and generated more than $300. The spaghetti dinner will complement that effort and lead into the Alzheimer’s Walk on Saturday, September 12 at Twin Lakes Park.

     “Our community is excited and proud to be a part of such a fantastic cause,” said Tracy Spallone, Memory Care Program Coordinator at Newhaven Court at Lindwood.  “Our team, our residents and their family members always step up and contribute to the effort.”

     The spaghetti dinner will be held at the senior living community located at 100 Freedom Way in Greensburg.

     “We have raised $1,704 so far for the Walk,” Spallone said. “We have been ranked as high as second for fundraising for the Westmoreland Walk. We anticipate that these totals will be boosted by the spaghetti dinner. We hope for a great turnout.”
