By: Miles High Productions The benefit concert will take place at 8pm in Beverly Hills at the Wallis Center for the Performing Arts with tickets ranging from $50-$150. Showcasing their electrifying live show for this special night, Sasha’s Bloc will bring their 15 piece band comprised of Brandon Fields, saxophone; Alex Budman, saxophone, clarinet; Kye Palmer, trumpet; Bob McChesney, trombone; Kevin Winnard, drums; James Lum, guitar, banjo; Andy Langham, piano. Guest artists on the upcoming album include: Jane Monheit, vocal; Alvin Chea, vocal; Jesse Palter, vocal; Tony Galla, vocal; Princess Fortier, vocal; Glynis Leflore, vocal; Akua Willis, vocal, Jason Fabus, accordion; Marc T. Bolin, tuba. Gershman plays upright bass and electric bass. An amalgam of varied artists, nationalities and experiences, Sasha’s Bloc is fueled by bassist and songwriter Alex Gershman that all together delivers a sound that is consistently big, boisterous, full of spirit and rich. The group has built a name for itself in recent years via multiple sold out concerts at the key Jazz Clubs in Los Angeles, including Catalina Bar and Grill, Vibrato, Baked Potato and Vitello's.
