Veronica James, aka the Gypsy Nester, travels the world full time with her husband David. A few years ago they packed up their home, put their essentials into storage, and started their unlikely, exciting, sometimes challenging and often hilarious journey with an open mind and an open-ended agenda right after they sent their last child off to college. The two have quite a following online (32,000 Twitter followers and 8,000 Facebook fans!), and have just published a best-selling book, Going Gypsy. Veronica will be conducting a workshop at the upcoming Women At Woodstock gathering November 6-8, 2015.

Sharon Becker, LISW, ACSW, is in private practice and has over thirty years' experience in counseling, working with individuals, couples, and families. In addition, she leads groups and workshops for women focusing on life transitions, grief and loss, and recreating yourself in the second half of life. Says Sharon, “My interest in working with women dealing with life transitions grew from my own experiences creating a home business in my late 30’s while my children were young. I spent the next fifteen years as an entrepreneur and artist specializing in children’s hand painted furniture and gifts and wrote a children’s book on kindness. My return to private practice began another life stage transition. My own journey of “reinvention” has helped me gain greater insight, clarity and knowledge to assist clients in learning to move forward with resiliency, direction and intention.”

Jennet Robinson Alterman is a native of Charleston and is the President and CEO of Robinson Alterman LLC., a consulting practice that assists organizations in developing leadership and entrepreneurial training programs for women. She has worked in television broadcasting, state and federal government and the non-profit sector. Her extensive background in international development includes serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Afghanistan, Peace Corps Country Director in Swaziland and the Interagency Coordinator for Peace Corps worldwide. Ms. Alterman currently serves as the Chair of Charleston County Housing Authority Board, the Vice Chair of the Spaulding Paolozzi Foundation and on the boards of Pro Bono Legal Services, the Girl Scouts of Eastern S.C., and the New Morning Foundation. In December 2008 Ms. Alterman gave the College of Charleston commencement address and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters.
