Nicky Jameson's Photo to Display in Waterfront Outdoor Photo Exhibit on Toronto Waterfront

TORONTO - Sept. 2, 2015 - PRLog -- In 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 over 2,500 images were submitted to the My Waterfront Photo Contest and photos were judged on overall impact, originality, artistic merit, composition and technical excellence. Each year, 50 finalists were then showcased in the My Waterfront Photo Exhibit in Queen’s Quay Terminal. Ms Jameson's photo "Winter on Toronto Waterfront, Bathurst Quay" was one of 100 images chosen from the top 200 photographs submitted to the photo contest over the past four years.

Now, in 2015, the photos will be displayed as 2ft wide x 5 ft high vinyl hydro pole banners along Queen's Quay from Yonge St to Bathurst St, opening Friday September 4, 2015 and running until Monday September 4 2017.

"I am thrilled that my photograph was selected for the Waterfront Outdoor Photo Exhibit," said Nicky Jameson, a resident of Toronto's Harbourfront community. "I hope people will visit our new revitalized Toronto Waterfront and experience all the beautiful photos that capture some of Toronto's unique beauty in the Waterfront Outdoor Photo Exhibit."

The 100 featured images of Toronto’s Waterfront were taken by amateur photographers from neighbourhoods throughout the Greater Toronto area including the Waterfront, The Beach, Leslieville, East York, North York, High Park, Markham, Etobicoke, Scarborough, Mississauga, Brookdale, Mount Albert and Thornhill.
