Ecommerce Software Leader Awarded CIO of the Year by American City Business Journal
Co-Founder of Ecomdash Wins Technology Leadership Honors in Small Business Sector
The Charlotte Business Journal’s 3rd Annual CIO of the Year Awards honored IT executives who demonstrate excellence in technology initiatives, including an ability to use information technology to optimize business operations, improve growth, create competitive advantages and more. Other winners hail from notable corporations and organizations such as Bank of America and the City of Charlotte Government.
Loomis, one of the original co-founders of ecomdash, spent two full years building the inventory tracking software from scratch. Loomis and additional co-founder Darrin Kidd created a prototype that they tested using a beta partner program, later launching the software out of beta in early 2014. Since then, ecomdash has won two prestigious Blue Diamond Technology Awards for exceptional innovation and small-medium business value. The inventory management software is also on pace to increase revenue by over 700% in 2015.
“I’m humbled to be named among the top CIOs of Charlotte,” said Loomis. “This honor is certainly a win for our entire team. I’m eager to see how ecomdash continues to grow in the coming years, and how we can improve business processes for our customers even further.”
Ecomdash will deploy an entirely revamped UI (user interface) for the software in mid-September. New features will include mobile and tablet responsive navigation, detailed business reports and a product listing module for each integrated sales channel.
