H & M Interior Design Celebrates One-Year Anniversary

Owned by industry veterans, Hugh Scarbrough, ASID, RID and Marissa Webb Marmolejos, ASID, RID, the firm marks a successful year in business with various and multi-faceted projects that reflect the principals' combined 10+ years' respective experience. Their success is showcased through the importance they place on client relationships and by the team's passion to make a difference through design.

H & M Interior Design’s project focus includes full-service interior design,new construction and remodels. The firm’s project accomplishments span diverse designs, approaches, and styles.

Examples of their work can be seen across the country as well as throughout the state of Texas.  Specific clients include a nursery in New York City; a high rise condo in Denver; and a contemporary desert home in Palm Desert, California. Local projects, both residential and commercial, range in size and scope throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex from McKinney to Highland Park and surrounding areas.

In addition to their client projects, the H & M principals are active participants and leaders in the interior design industry through The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). Mr. Scarbrough served as the Financial Chair of the Dallas Design Community and is currently the Communications Chair for the Texas Chapter. Hehas been voted to serve as President-Elect for 2015-2016. Since 2001, Ms. Marmolejos has been actively involved with ASID. She served two years as Chair for the Dallas Design Community and is currently President-Elect for the Texas Chapter. Ms. Marmolejos will begin her position as President for 2015-2016 on October 1, 2015.
