Josh Luke, Judi Partridge and Dr. Dung Trinh unite in the fight against Alzheimer’s

IRVINE, Calif. - Aug. 24, 2015 - PRLog -- Alzheimer’s Association, Orange County (http://www.alz.org/oc/) (AAOC), a leading nonprofit in Alzheimer’s care, research and education, has announced the addition of three new Orange County community leaders, Josh Luke, Ph.D, FACHE, Judi Partridge and Dr. Dung Trinh to its 2015-2016 board of directors. Led by Chairman Michael Lancaster, the board of directors (http://www.alz.org/oc/in_my_community_10859.asp) will guide the organization’s annual initiatives aimed at educating the community about Alzheimer’s, promoting healthy brain aging and advancing no-cost programs and services for Orange County families.

“Our mission to provide and enhance care and support for all those affected by Alzheimer’s disease can only be accomplished with a strong foundation of committed individuals,” said Jim McAleer, president and CEO of AAOC. “Josh, Judi and Dung are excellent additions to our current roster of dedicated volunteers, and their contributions will bolster our local efforts to fight this tragic disease.”

Luke, Partridge and Trinh all own impressive professional backgrounds spanning the health and business sectors.

Luke’s proficient diplomatic skills and natural affinity for cultivating relationships stems from more than seven years as a hospital CEO in Orange County. He serves as adjunct faculty for the University of Southern California Sol Price School of Public Policy and is a leading national speaker and best-selling healthcare author on the topic of patient-centered care and population management.

Partridge is a retired entrepreneur. As the founder and CEO of Eastwood Insurance Services, she brings more than 30 years of experience and business acumen. She serves as a board member for several other philanthropic organizations, including PBS SoCal and Special Olympics Southern California. Partridge also has her own nonprofit, the My Brother Joey Foundation (http://mybrotherjoey.org/), whose namesake inspired her involvement with the Alzheimer's Association.

Trinh is innovation center facility medical director for MemorialCare Medical Group and also has taught at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine as an assistant clinical professor. Currently, Trinh is actively pursuing medical missions with TongueOut Corporation, a nonprofit he established and leads as president. Named a Physician of Excellence the past eight years by the Orange County Medical Association and Orange Coast magazine, Trinh will support Alzheimer’s Association, Orange County in a leadership capacity with more than 20 years of healthcare experience and community service to his credit.

Luke, Partridge and Trinh join a remarkable board comprised of individuals who successfully led a host of initiatives in 2014, which included a grand opening celebration at the nonprofit’s new Irvine headquarters and well-attended Walks to End Alzheimer’s across Orange County.
