During the Gala, Caring For Others will present two Humanitarian of Hope Awards to recognize a business partner and a community partner. Timothy Tew of TEW Galleries and Kwanza Hall, Atlanta City Councilmember District 2 will be honored for their commitment to public service and contributions to the community, which exemplify compassion and humanitarianism. Additionally, Caring For Others will honor Mr. Miguel Southwell the General Manager of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport with the Global Humanitarian Award. Southwell will also deliver the keynote address. WHAT: The Art of Nature Gala will include an evening of dinner, dancing, live music, a world-class auction and the presentation of its Humanitarian of Hope Awards. Guests will be treated to an elegant and artful gala designed by William Fogler of WM Events, and live music will be provided by the Jabari Grover Band. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on auction items such as a Porsche track experience, a seven-night stay for up to 14 guests at Green Ranch in Brooks, Georgia and eight days, seven nights at a private Tuscan villa for four visitors. Atlanta-based Caring For Others was established in 2001 with a goal of helping those in need to live with dignity. During the past 14 years, the organization has grown to serve communities throughout the world. In 2014, Caring For Others assisted more than 123,000 families in the United States and more than 21,000 in seven other countries.
