KCR felicitates Yashoda Hospital owners for donating Rs. 1 cr.

HYDERABAD, India - Aug. 24, 2015 - PRLog -- Telangana Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao's speech which was laced with sharp wit and humour kept the villagers enthralled. He evoked loud laughter when he said mosquitoes make no difference between a chief minister and common man. He went on to advise them to make their village mosquito free. "I will ensure that the resorts management will supply you with the plants you need,' he said.

Later participating at a joint grama sabha of Rampuram and Medipalli villages in Nallabelli mandal, Chandrasekhar Rao felicitated Gorukanti Surender Rao who runs the Yashoda Hospitals for donating Rs 1 crore for Medipalli's development. Chandrasekhar Rao said it was admirable that Surender Rao made such a significant donation for the development of his village. "He also gave his house here for the village to use. If people join the Grama Jyoti like he has, then the programme will get a huge boost," he said.

He also announced a Rs 10 crore grant from the government to kick start the village development and encourage participation of all villagers in development activities. "If all the 4000 residents of Medipalli join hands, there is no force that can stop them from changing their own lives," he said.
