Innovative Black Belt Specialist, Robert Bakke, Serves Up #1 Seller

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Aug. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- Robert Bakke has spent his life accomplishing what others have said couldn’t be done.  Bakke was running a multi-million dollar company by the age of 24, and then flew himself into a jet flying career. Bakke recently beat the odds again by self-publishing his latest book all the way to #1 in Amazon’s “Miracles & Spirituality” category, and did it without the help of “social media.”  Bakke warns that “Every minute spent on social media is a wasted minute. America needs every one of us to succeed at achieving our dreams. Spending several hours a day staring into a device is a fast track to failure.” Bakke also advises business owners to “Avoid social media as a business building tool.” According to Bakke, “Social media is just that…a ‘social’ media.  It creates a lot of “chatter” but it is not a ‘business’ media. DO NOT get caught up in the hype.” According to Bakke, the payroll dollars being spent on social media campaigns are still dollars, and those dollars are better spent on ‘mainstream media’ investments.

Bakke agrees that social media has a definite place in business, particularly when it comes to maintaining relationships with an existing customer base. Bakke advises, “Do your research and find out where your customers are coming from. Most businesses will find their customers are coming from personal referrals, testimonials and the 900-pound Gorilla in the room, which is the mainstream media. Once the mainstream media has brought your customers in the door, stay connected with them through social media, but don’t get this process confused.”
