AlphaOne along with like-minded partners including, Nagar Nigam Amritsar, Voice Of Amritsar, Eco Amritsar, My FM and Alfaz Academy, organized the monthly cleanliness drive, “Let’s Make Amritsar Sparkling” at Haathi Gate, on 17^th August. This monthly drive creates better awareness about civic cleanliness, hygiene and proper use of dustbins as well as garbage bags among all. This eco-drive culminated the week-long Independence Day festive extravaganza entailing Patriotic, Socially Responsible, Hygienic & Cultural Initiatives and Events from August8 - August 17, 2015 at AlphaOne. These special initiatives by AlphaOne provided Amritsaris with fun-filled shopping, entertainment, strong cultural elements and several MC led contests and prizes.

During the Independence Day Festivities at AlphaOne, as is customary, the hoisting of the National Flag with the National Anthem initiated the proceedings. Later, the contestants of “Voice of Punjab - Junior” as well as school students presented cultural performances in the Courtyard and live Bagpiper performances by Hasda Punjab Band Group took place on 15^th as well as 16^th August in the Central Atrium. The dance performances were by Suraj Dance Academy.
