Tulare County Fair Calling for Talented Kids

FRESNO, Calif. - Aug. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- TULARE – A talent show just for kids will be held during the Tulare County Fair, Sept. 16-20.

Preliminaries will be held Saturday, Sept. 19, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Finals will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20.

Contestants must be 14 or younger and accompanied by a parent or guardian. Entry forms are available online at www.tcfair.org. Entries are due by Tuesday, Sept. 15. Twelve finalists will be chosen to move on to the Kids’ Talent Showcase. All contestants will receive a participant ribbon; the top three winners will receive cash and gifts. Music must be on a CD and no longer than two minutes. Contestants will be judged according to appearance, composure, talent and overall performance.

Carnival wristbands are now on sale through local nonprofit organizations for $20 in advance of the Fair or $30 during the Fair. For information on how to purchase wristbands, contact the fair at 686-4707. Admission is $8 for adults; $5 for children ages 6-12. Seniors 62 and older are admitted for $5 on Senior Day, Friday, Sept. 18, from 9 a.m. to noon, sponsored by Humana.
