State-of-the-art Equestrian Facility Opens In Hellertown, Pa

Lucky Shoe Farm offers trainings, lessons and sales to pleasure and competitive riders in a safe and inviting community dedicated to education, discipline and friendship

HELLERTOWN, Pa. - Aug. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Leithsville, PA, August 19, 2015--Kathyrn “Katt” Mills and Luke Dellmyer, owners of Lucky Shoe Farm, today announced the opening of their innovative equestrian facility at 2142 Leithsville Road, Hellertown, PA.  Situated on 26 acres of rolling hills, Lucky Shoe Farm is designed to provide the ultimate comfort and safety for both horse and rider. The new facility features: 26 12 x 12 stalls with rubber mats and Dutch windows, tongue and groove interiors, metal ceilings, rubber inlaid and concrete aisle floors, arched grooming and wash stalls, a farrier stall and two 100 x 200 feet indoor/outdoor arenas with 20 meter ceiling fans, and synthetic German Geo Textile (GGT) footing, which is widely used in the highest level international competitive venues.  Added safety features include a no climb fence that runs the entire perimeter of the property and a floor to roof firewall that separates the barn and indoor arena.

Riders enjoy spacious tack rooms with custom-made, built-in benches for storage, a viewing area with kitchen, WIFI and HD TV, laundry room, and a gym complete with climbing walls, treadmills, weights, and floor space for yoga and Pilates.

“We’ve been involved with horses for over 20 years and we’ve seen dozens of barns throughout the mid-Atlantic region. We took the best from everything to design the perfect barn of this size,” says Dellmyer.

“The stalls we took from one barn; the doors from another; and the rubber inlay from another,” add Mills.  “All the individual elements we’ve seen before and loved.  The open space plan; the windows, high ceilings, fans, fluorescent lights and cross ventilation provide a healthy, bright and relaxing environment for horse and rider. I’ve never seen one barn with all these elements combined.”

Lucky Shoe offers training, sales and instruction to pleasure and serious competitive riders of all ages and disciplines who want an introduction to the sport and discipline of horsemanship or who wish to pursue serious competitions throughout mid-Atlantic region, including local to recognized USED and USDF events. Importantly, riders at Lucky Shoe enjoy lifetime friendships in a community of likeminded horse enthusiasts. The facility offers riding club memberships, summer camps, fund raisers, and individualized training and lesson programs. Lucky Shoe plans to host year round educational clinics and competitions for both jumper and dressage riders as well as clinics taught by former Olympic Coach Daniel Stewart , Olympian dressage rider, Dr. Cesar Parra, and other top riders and judges.
