Women in eDiscovery Announces New Executive Director

 
Aug. 17, 2015 - PRLog -- MINNEAPOLIS, MN  – Women in eDiscovery (http://www.womeninediscovery.org/), an organization that brings together women interested in technology related to the legal profession, announced today that Jacalyn Rosborough has joined the board of executive directors.

Jackie Rosborough has been an active member of WiE for over seven years. She has served on the Minneapolis/St. Paul Chapter board of directors as membership director and chapter co-director and most recently as regional director for the eight WiE chapters in the central region. Rosborough recently relocated to Boise, Idaho, and obtained a position as a paralegal and litigation support supervisor at Hawley Troxell Ennis & Hawley. With over 14 years of experience in the legal field, she has hands-on knowledge of all phases of litigation in both federal and state courts. Rosborough’s areas of specialty include intellectual property litigation, general business litigation, trials/mediations and appeals. Rosborough is experienced with best practice procedures related to electronic discovery as well as a variety of applications including trial presentation software, document review platforms and Westlaw and LexisNexis.

When asked about her new role in the organization, Rosborough responded, “I have been so fortunate to be involved in WiE for the past seven years. It has provided me countless opportunities both professionally and personally, and I am thrilled to be joining such an incredible group of women on the executive board. My goal is to help in whatever way I can to continue to grow the WiE organization and provide our members with top-notch, relevant education and an avenue to network with their peers.”

In 2007, the organization held its first meeting in Washington, D.C., with 30 women in attendance. In a short period of time, Women in eDiscovery has achieved global reach with more than 3,000 members.

Women in eDiscovery is comprised of women who work within the legal industry, including general counsel, secretaries, partners, associates, chief operating officers, paralegals, litigation support and e-discovery professionals.
