INACSL Announces 2015-17 President

MORRISVILLE, N.C. - Aug. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- The International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation & Learning (INACSL) is pleased to announce Teresa Gore, PhD, DNP, FNP-BC, NP-C, CHSE-A, as the president for the 2015-17 board term.

“It has been my distinct pleasure serving INACSL as President from 2013-2015 and I’m proud to pass the baton to my colleague Teresa Gore. I do not know many who love INACSL more than Teresa and she understands the importance of our industry. INACSL’s Board of Directors and members work every day to advance the science of simulation in order to improve the quality of care received by those who come to us for healthcare, ” said INACSL 2013-15 President Carol Fowler Durham, EdD, RN, ANEF, FAAN.

Gore is a Nurse Practitioner and an Associate Professor in the College of Nursing at the University of South Florida. Since 2007, Gore has served INACSL in many roles including board member at large representative, Standards Committee member, Representative Chair, Vice-President for Programs, Conference Administrator and now President.

“I’m looking forward to what the future holds for INACSL. We are on the cusp of great things as an organization and I’m proud to be part of this amazing group of simulation leaders.  Simulation is reaching the tipping point due to exponential growth over the last five years,” said Gore.

Gore was installed as president on June 13, 2015, at the 14^th Annual INACSL Conference held in Atlanta, Ga.
