Costello Dental Excellence Presents Annual Scholarship Award

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. - Aug. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- Doctors John E. Costello and Ernest L. Costello, General and Cosmetic Dentists in Arlington Heights, Illinois, awarded their Annual Scholarship Award to their patient Alec J. Buchanan, who graduated from Prospect High School in May, 2015.  This presentation took place at the Costello Dental Excellence Patient Appreciation Event, that was held on June 4, 2015.  The event was held to honor their patients as well as their staff for their new patient referrals during the first half of 2015.

Dr. Ernie Costello states "We are a family practice that is engaged in the lives of our patients.  We are always in search of ways to give back to the community, both at large and in our immediate family of patients.  One way to accomplish this was to recognize this young man for his vision about the community he lives in.  This scholarship award will be given every year to one or two of our patients who are graduating high school in pursuit of a college degree."

Alec was one of many graduating high school students who submitted his essay to our Marketing Department with an explanation of "What does community mean to you and how can Costello Dental Excellence show a strong connection to our surrounding community?"  Due to the number of responses and great ideas, we found ourselves in the position to award a second candidate with a stipend for college as well.

The scholarship Award was created by Dr. Ernie Costello, DDS and will continue to be awarded by Costello Dental Excellence for many years to come.
