4.1/9.5 MiniDIN Terminations / Loads

ALLEN, Texas - Aug. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- Centric RF has just introduced it’s new 4.1/9.5 termination. Pertinant specs are a frequency range of 0-6 ghz, a maximum vswr of 1.2, and a power handling capability of 1 watt. These 4.1/9.5 terminations are also know as minidin terminations, or 4.1/9.5 loads.

The 4.1/9.5 interface has become popular in recent years as an alternative to the 7/16, which is about twice as large. The 4.1/9.5 also only requires 89 in-lbs of torque for proper operations, vs 221 in-lbs for the 7/16 which is a very strong requirement! 4.1/9.5 connectors, adapters, and terminations.

The 4.1/9.5 interface has veen around for awhile, but was recently specified as the connector of choise in serveral DAS systems. 4.1/9.5 terminations will serve the purpose of terminating unwanted signals at unused ports. Of course Centric also has 4.1/9.5 adapters, and will soon be introducing various other complementary products, such as 4.1/9.5 cables.
