Imani Faith Publishing is home for the motivational words of encouragement that will be written by Annie Johnson.

Annie M. Johnson was born in Melbourne, Florida and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She now resides in Lansing, Illinois.  Annie attended Western Illinois University where she excelled in Psychology, Sociology and subjects involving the study of people.  Since an early age, Annie has enjoyed reading. She remembers joking and often telling family and friends after reading books, “I can do that, I can be an author”.  It was not until she was part of a downsizing at a major financial institution that she asked God for guidance concerning her career. The answer was “Write”.  She looked around to see whom he was talking to, hoping he would elaborate.  She was the only one in the room so she realized this was His answer to her.
