Arnstein & Lehr’s Real Estate Attorney in Tampa Gains Florida Bar Board Certification

TAMPA, Fla. - Aug. 4, 2015 - PRLog -- Miami, FL. [August 5, 2015] Tampa attorney Vanessa Negrón Cohn, a partner in with Arnstein & Lehr and a member of the firm’s Commercial Real Estate Practice Group, has earned the Florida Bar board certification as a specialist in real estate law. Ms. Cohn joins a select group of less than 500 board-certified real estate attorneys in all of Florida. Board certification evaluates an attorney’s expertise, skills and proficiency in his or her area of law and professionalism and ethics in practice, according to the Florida Bar.

With over 25 years of commercial real estate experience, Ms. Cohn focuses her practice on the structuring, negotiation, due diligence, and consummation of real estate acquisition, financing, development, lease, governance, management and disposition transactions. Ms. Cohn represents companies of all sizes from Fortune 500 financial institutions to emerging firms.

This recognition helps the public identify lawyers whose competence and experience was methodically evaluated by the Florida Bar. The process for obtaining the board certification required, among other things, a peer review from lawyers and judges in order to assess competence in the specialty field as well as character, ethics and professionalism in the practice of law.

Certification is a voluntary program for lawyers, approved by The Florida Supreme Court and administered by The Florida Bar. The program began in 1986 to help the public select the most qualified lawyers.

Ms. Cohn is a title insurance agent and a member of the Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar. Ms. Cohn is a Hillsborough County Environmental Protection Commission (“EPC”) hearing officer for appeals filed by any person aggrieved by an action or decision of the environmental director of the EPC.
