JERSEY CITY, N.J. - July 31, 2015 - PRLog -- This is to inform the readers, authors, and all stakeholders of International Journal of Management, Economics and Social Sciences (IJMESS) [ISSN 2304-1366] that a blogger Jeffery Beall included International Journal of Management, Economics and Social Sciences on his so-called list of possible predatory journals. It is clearly an unethical practice as he didn’t contact IJMESS administration for any questions he had in his mind about the journal, second, he is not an authority or qualified in the field of academic journals to declare them predatory. Dr. Dario Vasquez Journal Manager of International Journal of Management, Economics and Social Sciences contacted the blogger through emails and telephonic calls and asked him to remove the name of journal from his predatory list but he failed to do so.

Through this press release, we want to inform our stakeholders that International Journal of Management, Economics and Social Sciences is a respected journal publishing quality research.  All articles submitted to IJMESS are subjected to initial desk review and double blind peer review. Indexing/abstracting/listing in reputed databases and directories (INSPEC, ERIHPLUS, ABI/INFORM, ProQuest Central, Summon, FSO Publications directory, Ulrichs directory, Cabell’s directories etc), strong editorial board, transparent review and author satisfaction are strengths. It is also important to note that top U.S academic services/products provider companies like STATA and AlleyDog include IJMESS in their list of quality journals. All articles published by IJMESS are permanently archived at ECONSTOR.

The ultimate end product offered by a journal is published article and satisfaction of authors. Our authors provide us with their satisfaction data regularly and IJMESS is open to provide authors’ satisfaction data to our stakeholders. Please note that IJMESS reserves the right to take legal action against the mentioned blogger.
