Pacific Islands Society received this honor through community feedback--from people served, legislators, volunteers, members, and donors and it truly shows the impact the organization has had on educating, celebrating, and sharing the unique cultural heritage of Pacific Islanders. The Top-Rated list honors highly reviewed nonprofits--think of the review site TripAdvisor-- About the Pacific Islands Society (PacSoc) The Pacific Islands Society is an independent, non-partisan, non-governmental organization that develops and implements projects that inspire and empower Pacific islanders around the world. These projects are currently organized around two main themes: community projects and next generation leaders. PacSoc's community projects center on nine issue areas, including charity, conservation, democracy, disaster relief, education, equality, health, innovation, and sustainability. About Eddie Walsh Eddie Walsh is the Founder and President of the Pacific Islands Society.
