This Saturday at Lockside Art Center

LOCKPORT, N.Y. - July 28, 2015 - PRLog -- Saturday, August 1, 1-4pm, Lockside Art Center’s first birthday, the dedication of the new Robert M. Giannetti Library - Bob’s Olde Books Collection, and two exhibitions opening - our annual Members’ Exhibition and Peggy Taylor’s Sculpture Exhibition.

Celebrate with us and see all that is happening at the center. Free birthday cake for all. The exhibitions continue through September 5. Open Friday through Sunday noon - 4pm and by appointment. In our first year, we held eight exhibitions, and our visitor log is growing. Our exhibitions have attracted patrons and artists from western New York and beyond.

Lockside Art Center is 501(c)(3) not-for-profit arts organization. We are located in Lockview Plaza, 21 Main at Pine in downtown Lockport.

Lockside Art Center is an intimate art center located in downtown Lockport, NY, overlooking the Erie Canal at the Flight of Five Locks, walking distance to restaurants and tourist attractions. We provide a general gallery, a sculpture gallery, studios, art research library, and a classroom. The center is open Friday, Saturday, Sunday, noon-4pm, and by appointment.
