FORT MYERS, Fla. - July 27, 2015 - PRLog -- The deadline for applications for the 11th annual Business Ethics Award of the Uncommon Friends Foundation is August 10, 2015. In conjunction with the Florida Gulf Coast University Chair of Business Ethics, the award will be presented to a Southwest Florida business that exemplifies the highest standards of ethical behavior in its dealings with both employees and its public. Finalists will be honored at a special business ethics luncheon hosted by FGCU and the Uncommon Friends Foundation on October 23, 2015, and the winner will be revealed at the annual Uncommon Evening on Tuesday, October 27 at the historic Burroughs Home & Gardens in Fort Myers.

Nominees from any of Southwest Florida's five counties who consistently demonstrate a system-wide commitment to high business ethics are eligible to apply. Anyone can nominate a deserving company, including themselves. Applications and submission guidelines are available at www.uncommonfriends.org.

The Uncommon Friends Foundation is also seeking corporate sponsorships for the Uncommon Evening: Jim & Ellie Newton Presenting Sponsor - $10,000; Uncommon Friends Sponsors (5) - $5,000 ea.; Historic Room Sponsors (7) - $3,000 ea.; Reception Sponsor - $2,500; Dessert Sponsor - $2,500; and Friends of the Uncommon Friends Sponsor - $800 (until 9/30/15), $900 thereafter.
