Episcopal Senior Communities and Jennings Court Celebrated 50 Years of Service

Local Officials Honored ESC, Residents, Staff and Supporters for Excellent Service to Seniors

SAN MATEO, Calif. - July 24, 2015 - PRLog -- On July 22, 2015, esteemed local officials and community leaders gathered at Jennings Court in Santa Rosa to honor Episcopal Senior Communities' (ESC) 50th Anniversary.

Sonoma County Supervisor Shirlee Zane issued a Gold Resolution, Stephen Gale provided a certificate of special recognition from Congressman Mike Thompson, and on behalf of Mayor John Sawyer, City Council Member Ernesto Olivares proclaimed July 22nd as "Jennings Court Day" in Santa Rosa.

Following the recognition from local officials, ESC held a celebration in tribute to those who have been instrumental in improving the lives of seniors throughout the organization's 50 years of service.

Episcopal Senior Communities is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping seniors maintain healthy, vibrant and independent lives, within ESC communities and in the community at large Through its Senior Resources divisions’ many initiatives and non-profit efforts, including the ElderWISE program, Senior Resources @ Home, Senior Center Without Walls, and the Senior Produce Markets, ESC is providing valuable services that alleviate isolation and promote healthy lifestyles.

Jennings Court is ESC's newest affordable senior housing community, providing homes to 55 low-income seniors in Santa Rosa. The Jennings Court community offers a place filled with comfort and opportunities to be social, active, or relaxed, all thanks to the 24-hour security and emergency call system on-site.
