Blue Elephant, a Thai restaurant in London, was happy to lend a hand to the Thai Children’s Trust

LONDON - July 24, 2015 - PRLog -- Have you heard about the Thai Children’s Trust? They’re the largest charity registered in the UK that supports disadvantaged children across Thailand. They work with our Thai partners on the ground directly supporting orphanages, HIV positive children, children with disabilities or living on the streets as well as children of migrants to Thailand from surrounding countries. Their work on behalf of the underprivileged and underserved is extremely important, vital and worthy of praise and recognition.

This is a subject that is close to the Blue Elephant’s heart, as a Thai restaurant in London, and we’re glad that we were a part of the Thai Children’s Trust’s fundraising event at the Taste of London event 2015! In a very successful day for the charity, over £3000 was raised and many people became aware of their services and needs. For an organisation like the Thai Children’s Trust, that greater awareness is just as important as the funds, as more people need to know about their efforts on behalf of disadvantaged children in Thailand to be able to contribute to the cause.

The Blue Elephant is grateful that a Thai restaurant could have played such an important part of the Thai Children’s Trust’s efforts!
