Two More Physicians Join SalusCare

FORT MYERS, Fla. - July 22, 2015 - PRLog -- Two more physicians have joined the medical staff of SalusCare, Inc., the region’s largest provider of treatment for individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.

Dr. Heather Pittman has joined SalusCare, Inc., as a pediatrician in children’s outpatient services.  Dr. Adrienne R. Eisner has joined the non-profit organization as a psychiatrist in adult outpatient services.

Dr. Pittman and Dr. Eisner will see patients with appointments at the Ortiz Campus at 2789 Ortiz Ave. in Fort Myers.

Dr. Pittman is part of SalusCare’s expansion of children’s outpatient behavioral health treatment, enabling the non-profit to treat more children and adolescents and reduce wait times for appointments.

She is a graduate of Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Ind., where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Saba University School of Medicine in the Netherlands-Antilles.

This was followed by an internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Chattanooga.

Dr. Pittman has worked as a pediatrician in Florida and is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Eisner earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of South Florida in Tampa; Masters degree in health services administration from St. Joseph’s College of Maine; and her Doctor of Medicine degree from St. Mathew’s University in Belize.

She completed her internship and residency in psychiatry at the University of Florida in Gainesville.

Dr. Eisner taught medical students at the University of Florida Department of Psychiatry and volunteered at the Helping Hands Clinic in Gainesville, where she conducted psychiatric assessments and medication management.

She is a member of the Florida Psychiatric Society and the American Psychiatric Association.
