Follow on Google News | Interfaith Caregivers to Host a “Best of Broadway” Fundraiser on August 5Event to raise money to help local homebound seniors and people with disabilities
Soprano Joanna Latini, a rising star who recently graduated from CarnegieMellonUniversity with honors, and baritone Michael Maliakel, a professional actor-singer based in New York City, will sing hits from Broadway musicals. Joanna’ Adding to the fun of the evening, guests will be served dinner and wine by celebrity servers and sommeliers that will include Assemblymen Daniel Benson and Wayne DeAngelo; Mercer County Freeholders John Cimino, Pasquale Colavita and Andrew Koontz; Detective Quincy Hendryx from the Hamilton Police Department; Mercer County Executive Brian Hughes; Hamilton Councilman Dennis Pone; Cathy DiCostanzo, President of the Mercer County Chapter, Sunshine Foundation; Dan Keelan, President of E&T Services; John Strycharz, Chairman of Hamilton Township Economic Development Advisory Commission; Lauretta Lucchesi, Senior Vice President, Grand Bank, NA; and Liz Tindall, President of Liz Tindall and Associates, LLC. Jane Latini, ICGMC Executive Director and Eileen Thornton, ICGMC Development Committee Chairperson, both of Hamilton, commented, “Last year, we hosted a similar fundraiser, an “Evening of Amore.” Much to our welcome surprise, the response was so huge that we had to change venues to accommodate more than 200 guests. This year, we are looking forward to another outstanding event for our community to gather, network and enjoy exceptional area talent and support the mission of Interfaith Caregivers.” Tickets for the event are $35 which includes dinner, wine and entertainment. Due to the high turnout of guests last year, those interested in attending are encouraged to purchase tickets early to guarantee admission to the event.
