Artist Scott Johnson Launches Debut Fantasy/Horror Graphic Novel 'Vestigia'

ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA — Local artist Scott Johnson, has announced the availability to pre-order his first graphic novel “Vestigia” as part of a crowdfunding effort. Making over 30% if its goal in the first week, Vestigia is garnering the interest of children and adults alike.

At its core, Vestigia is a spooky adventure story about trying to get over a personal struggle and regaining lost courage, but there’s also action, mystery, humor, and a few unexpected turns.

Set on an Earth-like planet, the story centers around a boy named Wesley. Before the events of the book, Wes experiences a tragedy. His best friend, Malcolm, tries to help him through it by joining him on a mission to find a buried treasure box. Shortly after setting out on their quest, Wes and Mal find themselves trapped in a giant cave. They must go deeper into the darkness in hopes that there's another way out... and something is lurking in the shadows.
