Award-Winning Children’s Author Kathleen Pelley Kicks Off Website, Online Storytelling Program

DENVER - July 17, 2015 - PRLog -- Kathleen Pelley fell in love with stories as a small child in Scotland, crouched in front of the radio, listening to the BBC Children’s Story Hour, and her passion has only grown since. With experience as a teacher, picture book author, narrator of books for the blind, and storyteller at an inner-city school, Pelley now works to share her love of stories with a new generation.

The Colorado-based author and speaker has launched a new website (www.kathleenpelley.com) to feature some of her favorite children’s stories, read aloud in her enchanting Scottish accent. The stories often focus on enduring themes like courage, love, and kindness and are accompanied with activities like games, puzzles and discussion questions. Pelley’s goal is to strengthen not only listening and language skills but also an appreciation for the art of storytelling.

“I deeply enjoy sharing my passion for stories with people of all ages,” says Pelley. “This is an opportunity for mum, dad, grandma, granddad, or teacher to cuddle up with a little one, close your eyes and LISTEN.”
