Enjoy Free Admission and Family Activities at IntelliTec’s 2015 Fundraising Car Expo in Pueblo

Join the fun with free admission to the 2015 IntelliTec College Fundraising Car Expo, 713 E. Spaulding, Pueblo West on Saturday, July 18th, 9 am – 2 pm.

IntelliTec College’s annual Fundraising Car Expo raises money for deserving charities in the Pueblo area and offers a lot of fun for the whole family along the way. This year’s event appeals to both the car enthusiast and the child in everyone.

“Our goal has always been to raise money for local charities, and this year we’ve expanded our fundraising efforts to include The Posada House, The Boys and Girls Club of Pueblo, and the YMCA of Pueblo,” states Jason Ontiveros, Automotive Technician Program Supervisor at IntelliTec College of Pueblo “But this year we’re adding a lot more activities the whole family can enjoy,” he adds.

10 Classes of Cars and Motorcycles on Display at Fundraising Event

The annual Car Expo will be held at IntelliTec’s automotive facility, 713 E. Spaulding, Pueblo, CO 81007. It promises to have 10 different classes of automobiles and motorcycles available for visitors to thoroughly check out right on site, then cast a vote for their favorite. Activities will include a dunk tank, a bouncy house, and a number of children’s games.

Mermaids Visit IntelliTec College of Pueblo for Annual Car Expo

“We’ll also have mermaids swimming in their own tank. They’ll occasionally be outside their tanks and accessible for picture-taking and autograph signing for anyone wishing to get a closer look at a real mermaid!” said Ontiveros with a wink and a smile.

Register to Participate in Pin-Up Girl Competition at Fundraising Car Expo

Another addition to this year’s Fund-Raising Car Expo is a Pin-Up Girl Contest. For those interested in competing, register now by calling (719) 369-6433. IntelliTec’s Cosmetology students will be on hand to provide free hair and make-up to contestants.

Passkey-on-the-Go in Pueblo will be offering Italian sausage sandwiches, hamburgers and hot dogs, and mac ’n cheese on a stick as well as Pepsi products and water for purchase.

“First and foremost, this is a fund-raising event. But we want Pueblo to learn more about our exciting and real-world Automotive Technician training program. What better way to do it than to plan an expo combining them both?” comments Ontiveros.
