Follow on Google News | Shutts & Bowen's James Timko named president of Turnaround Management Association Florida chapterBy: Shutts & Bowen Mr. Timko is a member of Shutts & Bowen’s Creditors' Rights Practice Group and a commercial litigator, representing a variety of clients in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases. He has represented creditors across the country, and speaks and writes nationally on creditors’ rights and bankruptcy law. In addition to his TMA board duties, most recently as president-elect, Mr. Timko is also chair of the Education Committee for TMA’s 2015 Southeastern Regional Conference, recently held in Palm Coast. Mr. Timko also has experience resolving general commercial disputes, including matters involving copyright issues. He has also represented institutional lenders in connection with asset based lending transactions and real estate transactions. He is a Florida Supreme Court-certified Circuit-Civil Mediator.
