Eye of the Day Garden Design Center Acquires Orange-Tree-Planters

CARPINTERIA, Calif. - July 15, 2015 - PRLog -- Eye of the Day Garden Design Center is pleased to announce the recent acquisition of Orange Tree-Planters, formally owned by Eric Vogelzang and Frederic Richard in Buellton, CA. Eye of the Day is known for an expansive inventory of fine American and European terracotta pottery and is excited to expand the existing catalog of classic wooden planter boxes.

Originally developed in the 17^th century by the gardener of King Louis XIV for his chateau, a box planter was created to ensure the survival of delicate and exotic fruit trees at the palace. These celebrated planters are still made to help sustain the plants during challenging conditions for indoor and outdoor designs.
