Denver Office of Snell & Wilmer Expands with Addition of Three Attorneys

July 9, 2015 - PRLog -- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that attorneys Thomas H. Blomstrom, Cody C. Bourke and David F.J. Dye recently joined the Denver office.

Blomstrom has been in practice for more than a decade and focuses on advising insurers on coverage matters involving first party and liability coverage, including property, CGL, professional liability and automobile. He has extensive experience in the defense of bad faith litigation and the prosecution of contribution actions on behalf of insurers. In addition to insurance related matters, Blomstrom has a broad litigation background that includes products liability, premises liability, foodborne and environmental torts, catastrophic personal injury and dram shop liability. He has also prosecuted and defended numerous appeals in the Colorado and federal appellate courts in a diverse set of practice areas. Blomstrom earned his B.A. in English cum laude at University of Pennsylvania and received his J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law.

Bourke joins the office as an associate. His practice is concentrated on commercial litigation and natural resources. Bourke has represented clients in state and federal court in a wide variety of litigation matters including oil and gas litigation, contract disputes and environmental litigation. He has also represented a client regarding the implementation of air quality rules for oil and gas operations in Colorado. Bourke earned his B.A. in Psychology with distinction from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He received his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law where he was Order of St. Ives.

Dye is an associate and focuses his practice in real estate. He assists clients with real estate transactions, including purchases, sales and leases of commercial and residential properties.  In addition, Dye’s practice emphasizes commercial development, having drafted and negotiated numerous construction license agreements, PUD and development agreements, easements, management and cost-sharing agreements, and condominium unit purchase agreements. Dye is also well versed in hospitality law, the Colorado Common Interest Ownership Act (CCIOA), the Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act (ILSFDA), resort liquor licensing, and real property valuations and tax appeals. He earned his B.A. cum laude at the University of Georgia in History and received his J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law.
