“Amanda’s experience, coupled with her dedication to the mission of Good Shepherd Shelter, made our next steps much easier,” said Christopher Chorba, president of the Good Shepherd Shelter board. “She steps into a program that is poised to serve more survivors of domestic violence than we have been able to serve before in our 111 years in Los Angeles.” Amanda began her clinical career at Good Shepherd Shelter, serving in organization’ Amanda received a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Loyola Marymount University and master’s in social work from the University of Southern California, School of Social Work.
