Developing World Crowdfunding Continues Rapid Growth, Finds AlliedCrowds Report

 
LONDON - July 10, 2015 - PRLog -- AlliedCrowds has released its latest report on crowdfunding in the developing world. The report includes the most current data on industry size, growth projections, and leading platforms, supplemented with case studies, country profiles, and sector analysis.

The Developing World Crowdfunding report focuses on the amount of money raised in and sent to the developing world in the last month, as well as over the entirety of Q2. Key findings from the report include:

- $59 million was raised in the developing world in Q2,

- 678 campaigns are launched every day,

- services, agriculture, and health were the sectors that grew the most over the past month,

- lending (48%) is the most commonly used crowdfunding model in the developing world, followed by donation (36%),

- the amount of crowdfunding dollars raised throughout Africa grew by 8% over the last month,

- Kenya’s crowdfunding industry grew 26% in Q2 alone,

- and much more.

The Developing World Crowdfunding report includes analysis, campaign case studies, and country profiles to help place the numbers into context.
