Hazcom Warriors Program by It’s Time Compliance Gains Traction

MONTREAL - July 8, 2015 - PRLog -- The Hazcom Warriors program by It’s Time Compliance has grown exponentially since its inception.

The unique program was created by It’s Time Compliance to train and transition military veterans into civilian life. The transition from active duty to civilian life can be a shock for many service members, and although there are services available to assist these veterans, many of them fall short of the goal.

It’s Time Compliance is a globally recognized SDS & Regulatory organization that works with clients to develop SDS data sheets & regulatory compliance while offering training, management, classification, and downstream delivery. The connection between It’s Time Compliance and the decision to develop the Hazcom Warriors programs rests in a recent deadline for chemical companies to comply with new workplace hazard communication and labeling legislation.

Hazcom Warriors has been co-developed by Primetra, and thus far, the program has been chosen by major chemical companies to augment and enhance existing protocols and guidelines. Through the program, veterans have access to ongoing training, well paid and critical work. Veterans are taught to author Safety Data Sheets, documents that provide important and life-saving information about workplace chemicals and how to safely handle them, carefully mentored by It’s Time Compliance’s experts.

The Hazcom Warriors Veteran Learn and Earn training program is the brain-child of It's Time Compliance's Daniel Coleman, who recognized that injured Veterans and their Caregivers need meaningful, well-paying, flexible work that they can do from home.  In April 2014, Tracy McGinnis of Primetra, along with Greg Pattison of GLP Systems Inc., provided training for the first group of Veterans and Caregivers at the Independence Center (Palm Key) in Ridgeland, South Carolina. The first candidates were able to make the journey from all across the USA to attend the 2.5 day training session thanks to some generous donations by The Bradbury & Janet Anderson Family Foundation and continued support from The Independence Fund.

Supporting the movement to treat veterans better, with equal pay and help with the transition from active duty, It’s Time Compliance is proud to see that their program is taking off.

“Other Veterans and Caregivers are working on projects through It's Time Compliance and some are awaiting long-term contracts or permanent work with companies who need a hard-working, intelligent and conscientious hazard communicator.
