A trip to Italy may be closer than one might think

Go Eat Give presents Destination Italy at Varuni Napoli (at 1540 Monroe Drive, NE Atlanta, GA 30324) on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 7pm.
ATLANTA - July 7, 2015 - PRLog -- Not everyone can afford a trip to Italy this summer, but Atlanta-based nonprofit organization, Go Eat Give, is recreating a Roman holiday for an evening. Destination Italy, to be held at Varuni Napoli on July 29, 2015 at 7pm will feature authentic Italian pizza from Naples, celebrity Italian actress Nicole Cimino, Italian watercolors by international artist, Kathy Rennell Forbes, and native Italian speakers from Ciancia conversation club.

Guests can enjoy a taste of the streets of Italy in downtown Atlanta, without having to travel for ten hours. Chef and owner at Varuni Napoli, Luca Varuni  (formerly of Antico Pizza), along with his siblings who recently migrated from Naples, will prepare almost every kind of pizza off their menu, while guests enjoy poems and songs performed by acclaimed actress Nicole Cimino. Varuni studied at La Notizia, the only Michelin-rated pizzeria in the world, and believes in using only the finest ingredients to prepare his recipes.

Italy is the number one visited destination for Americans, but a trip there can set you back a few thousand dollars. Curt Coulombe, partner at Elliot and Associates Wealth Advisors, Inc. will provide attendees essential tips for saving in a “Forget You Fund” that allows one to take yearly international vacations.

If any of the attendees are inspired to take a trip to Italy after the event, they can sign up for the Go Eat Give Art Tour of Tuscany and Le Marche in October 2015 (www.goeatgive.com/trips/art-tour-of-italy) with international artist, Kathy Rennell Forbes. Like all Go Eat Give themed vacations, travelers will indulge in authentic cuisine; learn about the local culture, volunteer at a 600-years old olive farm, along with meeting artists and receiving artistic instructions.

Tickets for the event are $35 for members and $45 for non-members, and include food, speaker and entertainment. Tickets may be purchased at goeatgivedestinationitaly.eventbrite.com.
