DALLAS - July 7, 2015 - PRLog -- The Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance recently hosted a First Responders Open House paying tribute to police, firefighters, emergency medical technicians and search and rescue members who currently serve the North Texas community. The event was part of the launch for the museum’s newest exhibit “Ground Zero 360: Never Forget,” a traveling photography installation honoring 9/11 victims.

“The Dallas Holocaust Museum supports Upstanders – people who stand up in defense of others – and we are proud to have the opportunity to honor the first responders of the 9/11 attacks as well as first responders from our own area,” said Mary Pat Higgins, the Museum’s President and CEO. “This installation pays tribute to the men and women who displayed an incredible amount of courage and acted selflessly during one of the most terrifying and chaotic times in our nation’s history.”

Local first responders received free admission to the exhibit and were served breakfast and lunch, provided by Communities of Foundation of Texas donors. The “Ground Zero 360: Never Forget” exhibit will remain at the Museum through August 25.
